What is Therify?

Therify is a mental health benefit provided by your employer. We connect you with a licensed therapist who's the right fit for your needs, background, and preferences; then we help you stay engaged in care so you actually get better, not just matched.

How is Therify different from my health insurance's mental health benefits?

Most insurance directories are outdated. Up to 86% of listed providers aren't actually available, accepting new patients, or even practicing anymore. Therify maintains a vetted network of over 1,500 therapists across all 50 states, and our care navigation team personally ensures you find someone who fits. We don't just hand you a list; we guide you through the process.

Is this really included in my benefits?

Yes. Your employer covers the cost of Therify's matching and care navigation services. Depending on your specific benefit, therapy sessions may be fully covered, partially subsidized, or billed through your insurance. We'll clarify exactly what's covered for you during the registration process.

How does Therify match me with a therapist?

We look at more than just location and availability. Our matching process considers your specific concerns, therapy preferences, cultural background, identity factors, and communication style. You'll complete a brief intake that helps us understand what you're looking for, and our care navigators use that information to recommend therapists who genuinely fit.

What is care navigation?

Care navigation is personalized support from a real person on our team. Your care navigator helps you find the right therapist, answers questions along the way, checks in to make sure things are going well, and helps you pivot if your first match isn't quite right. Think of them as your guide through the mental health system.

How do I sign in?

Visit matching.therify.co and enter the email address associated with your Therify account. We will send you a 6 digit, single-use verification code to that email. Enter the code in the verification input and click "Verify" to complete your sign in. For security purposes, this verification code is only valid for one use and expires 10 minutes after creation. You can always request a new code should you experience any issues signing in.

What happens after I register?

After you complete registration and your intake questionnaire, our care navigation team reviews your information and identifies therapists who match your needs. You'll receive an email with your personalized recommendations, along with guidance on how to book your first session.

Will someone reach out to me, or do I need to take action?

Both. We'll reach out with your matches and check in to see how things are going. But you're in control of the pace; you decide when to book and who to see. If you ever feel stuck or unsure, just reply to any of our emails or reach out directly. We're here to help.

Can I change therapists if it's not a good fit?

Absolutely. Finding the right therapist sometimes takes more than one try, and that's completely normal. Let your care navigator know what's not working, and we'll help you find a better match at no extra cost or hassle.
